The Sacred Heart of Jesus School in Gavà is up for auction at half price.
The asset, valued at €2.3 million, comes from the school's bankruptcy proceedings.
BarcelonaThe building of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús School in Gavà, valued at €2.3 million, has gone up for auction for a starting price that is practically half of its value. The school announced its closure in mid-April, a decision that forced students to be relocated to other schools in the municipality. The school had been facing financial difficulties in recent years, which led to bankruptcy proceedings.
The block now up for auction, which was the school's headquarters, is a multifunctional building located at 9 Calle Santa Teresa in Gavà. With a constructed area of 2,493 square meters and a usable area of 1,744 square meters, the property has three floors. The facilities allow it to continue serving educational purposes as it has until now, or for the buyer to convert it for other uses included in the planning regulations, which would also allow for offices, a commercial area, or housing, among others.
Auction until November 4th
The property is being sold through the bankruptcy proceedings of Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Jesús SL, the proceedings of which are being held before Barcelona Commercial Court No. 4. On behalf of the appointed bankruptcy administrator, the assets are being sold by extrajudicial auction through Surus, a specialized entity that manages the process through its Escrapalia Inmuebles platform.
The auction will remain open until November 4. To participate, you must register with Escrapalia and follow the instructions for making the security deposit of €130,000. If you are not the successful bidder, the amounts deposited by the bidders will be returned within ten business days of the auction closing.
