The CNMV plans to be swift in approving the Sabadell takeover bid prospectus.

The president of the CNMV, Carlos San Basilio, has stated that the entity's objective is to move forward "as quickly as possible" with the prospectus for BBVA's takeover bid for Sabadell so that, once the Spanish government's decision is known, it can be approved and the acceptance period can be opened expeditiously.
