Gas station price war to attract more electricity or gas business

Moeve and Naturgy respond to Repsol with fuel discount plans offering higher savings the more services are contracted.

In this context, Moeve (formerly Cepsa), which owns the second largest network of service stations in Spain, and Naturgy have strengthened their alliance to offer discounts to their customers, responding to the campaign launched by Repsol, which has the largest network of service stations in Spain, and which announced discounts of up to 40 cents for the Waylet card.

Moeve and Naturgy have strengthened their multi-energy planBetween March 24 and April 6, during Holy Week, customers who fill their vehicle's tank twice with at least 42 liters each time can save between €8 and €56. This offer applies to all registered users of Moeve gow (the brand's loyalty program), which already has four million members. When they log in as members of this program, they will receive a credit of 10 cents per liter on their fuel purchase, double the usual rate. If they use the mobile app, they will receive an additional two cents, bringing the total to 12 cents per liter.

And the users of Multi-energy plan, By combining electricity or gas contracts with fuel deliveries at gas stations, customers save 20 cents per liter, which increases to 30 cents if they sign a maintenance contract with Naturgy. As the number of linked services increases, and therefore the number of services contracted, the savings grow to a total of up to 67 cents per liter, but this comes at the cost of eventually contracting solar panels with Naturgy. Moeve, at the same time, is increasing fuel savings by another five cents per liter for its 150,000 business customers, also between March 24 and April 6.

Repsol, for its part, is launching a discount campaign from this Saturday until Monday, April 6th, for its Waylet customers, with savings of up to 40 cents per liter, depending on their energy contracts, such as electricity or gas. Transport professionals and self-employed individuals with a Solred card will receive an additional discount of 5 cents per liter, on top of their usual discounts.
