BarcelonaDamm closed 2025 with net profits of 155 million euros, which represents 11% less than the previous year, when it had earned 175 million. According to the accounts approved this Tuesday by the company's general shareholders' meeting, last year the Catalan company's turnover also fell slightly (-0.7%), standing at 2,010 million euros, although in 2024 revenues amounted to 2,025 million. The historic brewery justifies the slight decrease by the current context: as they assure, according to Cerveceros de España, the first official estimates of per capita beer consumption in Spain point to a drop of more than 4%.

Given this scenario, as the company explains in a statement, "internationalization" continues to be one of its "main growth levers". Currently, Damm's brands are already present in more than 130 countries and the Catalan company exports with its own brand to 88 markets. Thus, the international business of the Barcelona-based brewery accounted for 30% of its activity. It is worth remembering that during the last financial year Damm has completed two investments in this regard: the company launched its first plant in Africa, with a soft drink factory in Dakar, Senegal. On the other hand, in the United Kingdom, a "strategic market", the acquisition of the Old Speckled Hen family of brands, one of the country's most recognized premium ale beers, has also been completed. In total, Damm registered a marketed volume of beverages – beer, water, and soft drinks – of 22 million hectoliters during the year 2025.

To double by 2030

Coinciding with its 150th anniversary, Damm aims to start a new growth phase with the objective of doubling its turnover by 2030, according to the company itself. "The new stage we are beginning towards 2030 requires us to continue strengthening our brands, opening new opportunities in beverages and food, and reinforcing our international presence, always with a long-term vision and with people, innovation, and operational excellence as pillars of our future,” points out the company's executive president, Demetrio Carceller Arce.

Another of the company's major novelties this 2025 has been the incorporation of Nestea into its portfolio. According to the company, through the agreement reached with Nestlé, Damm – which produces, markets, and distributes the drink throughout the Iberian Peninsula – has managed to "consolidate its position in the non-carbonated beverage segment".
