Catalonia was the second region that received the most Spanish tourists.

In 2024, Catalonia was the autonomous community with the second highest rate of domestic tourism in Spain, with more than 6.8 million visitors from other parts of the country, representing 14.7% of the total, according to the National Statistics Institute (INE). Andalusia was the first, with 16.9%, or approximately 7.8 million tourists.
