Caixa Enginyers approves with record profit the accounts of 2025
The assembly of the Catalan financial group gives the green light to the results of the first year of Juanjo Llopis as general director
BarcelonaThe members of Caixa Enginyers have approved the annual accounts of the credit cooperative for 2025, when it achieved a record result of 26.5 million euros, 11% more than in 2024. During the celebration of its Ordinary General Assembly, the members gave the green light to results that include a turnover of 9.269 billion euros, which represents an increase of 8% compared to 2024, the entity reported this Tuesday in a statement.
The assembly coincided with the first year of the mandate of the general director, Juanjo Llopis, and validated the proposal for remuneration of the share capital contribution title of 5%, as well as the updating of its nominal value, which will go from 100 to 102 euros after receiving authorization from the Bank of Spain. During 2025, Caixa Enginyers surpassed 220,000 members for the first time, reaching 220,080, a 2% increase compared to the previous year, and consolidated its cooperative banking model.
The financial group chaired by Félix Masjuan closed the fiscal year with 33 offices throughout the State, concentrated mainly in Catalonia. Specifically, 10 branches are located in Barcelona, 12 in the rest of Catalonia, and 11 in the rest of Spain.
