Adam Foods completes the purchase of Biscoland's assets in Morocco

The Casablanca plant occupies 13,000 square meters and will resume operations during 2026.

BarcelonaAdam Foods, a Catalan food group with brands such as Artiach, Birba and Panrico, has finalized the purchase of Biscoland's assets, which include the factory located in Casablanca (Morocco), until now the biscuit division of the Moroccan group Holmarcom, the company announced in a statement on Tuesday.

This operation strengthens Adam Foods' presence in North Africa and its commitment to geographical and portfolio diversification.

Biscoland's production plant, built in 2023, has the latest production technology and occupies 13,000 square meters, and is expected to resume activity during 2026 to produce specific products for these markets, which complement the group's current offering.

The acquisition is part of the company's internationalization plan, launched in 2023, which aims to boost organic and inorganic growth in international markets. José Manuel Faría, CEO of Adam Foods' biscuit division, explained that "Morocco and North Africa are markets with great potential, and this acquisition" allows us to broaden our horizons and generate synergies.
