BarcelonaThe Mediterranean Fair of Manresa, the Joan Miró Foundation, the film Wolfgang and the show Opera in the veins These are four of the ten cultural projects featured in the 2025 Christmas carol published by the Carulla Foundation, a publication the organization has produced every Christmas for the past 59 years. The publication was presented this Thursday at an event at the foundation's Barcelona headquarters during an "immersive artistic experience" inspired by the essence of the ten projects featured in the edition, as reported by EFE. Percussionist Núria Andorrà and the folk dance group Radicela were the stars of an evening that also included remarks from the director of Fira Mediterrània, Jordi Fosas; the director of the Contorno Urbano Foundation, Esteban Marín; and the artistic curator Tere Badia.
The other protagonists of the Christmas Carol, chosen for their "capacity for social, community and cultural impact", are the Incert Festival, the promotion of Catalan by parents who organize conversation groups in schools, the video game It's snowing, the Santa Monica Art Center, the Urban Contour project, Module, and the book The art of being human By David Bueno.
In her speech during the event, the director of the Carulla Foundation, Marta Esteve, explained that, although they highlighted ten projects, they would find "many more because, in times of haste and uncertainty like the ones we live in, culture is the clarity that guides us, that ignites hope and opens doors."
The Carol The Fundació Carulla, throughout these decades, has been collecting in each edition "a living story that connects past, present and future".
