BarcelonaThe singer-songwriter from Seville, Beret, who on Tuesday livened up the wait for Beret was one of the artists who performed on Tuesday during the massive vigil held at the Olympic Stadium to celebrate the arrival of Leo XIV in Barcelona, which also featured Conchita, Siloé, Álvaro Soler, Alfred García, and Sergio Dalma. Beret performed two of his best-known songs, Lo siento

and Superhéroes. In this last song, a children's choir took to the stage to sing the chorus, adapted into Catalan for the occasion. "Long live the Pope!", celebrated an emotional Beret at the end of the song. "Long live the real message that marks unity".

Beret had already performed at another papal vigil, the one held on Saturday in Madrid's Plaza de Lima, where he performed alongside Siloé, Hakuna, and Antonio José, among others. But it was not the first time the Sevillian had performed in front of a pope: he did so in 2023 at the Vatican, where, along with Italian artist Mr. Rain, he performed for Pope Francis the same song that was played this Tuesday at the Olympic Stadium, Superhéroes

.

Beret began his career in 2013 by uploading songs to digital platforms like YouTube. His record debut arrived in 2019 with Prisma, which featured collaborations with other artists such as Melendi, Sebastián Yatra, Vanesa Martín, or Pablo Alborán. In 2022 he released Resiliencia, with hits like his duet with Morat Porfa no te vayas or Diablo, with Estopa. In 2025 he released his third album, Lo bello y lo roto.
