Jim Shooter, Marvel's editor in the 1980s, has died at the age of 73. Under his leadership, the publisher experienced an artistic and commercial renaissance with titles such as X-Men by Chris Claremont, the Daredevil from Frank Miller and the best-selling miniseries Secret Wars, with scripts by Shooter himself.
