From Àlex Ubago to Maria del Mar Bonet: the GuitarBcn 2026 concerts

The program includes around fifty concerts, with more than 100,000 tickets on sale.

BarcelonaMore than 100,000 tickets are on sale. This is the projected capacity for the 2026 edition of Guitar Bcn, the festival organized by the promoter The Project and directed by Judit Llimós. With 85% of the lineup finalized, there will be 47 concerts in 14 venues of varying sizes, from the Palau Sant Jordi to La [2] at the Apolo. "With artists like Valeria Castro, who is making her debut at the Palau Sant Jordi, and other emerging acts like Roserona and Depol," explains Llimós.

Guitar Bcn will kick off on January 8th with a performance by the Extremaduran singer-songwriter Bebe, currently on tour celebrating the twentieth anniversary of her album. Out with the cobwebs (2004), and will end on December 18, 2026 with the Aragonese duo Amaral, who will be performing one of the last concerts of the tour Dolce vita at the Palau Sant Jordi. "It will be Amaral's first concert at the Palau Sant Jordi," Llimós specifies.

One of the unique aspects of the program is the significant presence of artists celebrating anniversaries. For example, Maria del Mar Bonet, who will reach sixty years in the music industry with a special performance at the Palau de la Música on May 23, where she will also present a new album. Or the Basque singer Álex Ubago, who will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the release of his album What do you want? (2001) on September 17th, also at the Palau de la Música. O Pastora, who return to the stage after a twelve-year absence and are about to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the album Shepherdess, the one from the song LolaThe concert will take place on May 16th at Sala Apolo [2] and will serve to present a new album featuring various collaborations. Also in keeping with the anniversary theme, there will be performances by Iván Ferreiro, José del Tomate, Los Amigos de las Artes, Mario Biondi, Revólver, and Mikel Erentxun. Silvia Pérez Cruz will perform at the Liceu on March 25th to celebrate 30 years in music, since she began singing with her father in Calella de Palafrugell at the age of 12. The Liceu will host some of the festival's most important concerts, such as Estrella Morente's (February 15th) and Ludovico Einaudi's two concerts (February 27th and 28th).

The GuitarBcn 2026 program also includes concerts by 091, Alcalá Norte, Kanka, Andrea Motis, Plazuela, María Peláe, Clara Peya, Tania, Ana Torroja, Triquell, and Vega, among others. In addition, Jofre Bardagí will premiere Serrat interprets: something personalA record dedicated to his father, Josep Maria Bardagí (1950-2001), and Joan Manuel Serrat (May 13th at Paral·lel 62).
