Expropriation of a warehouse to build a cultural facility in the Poble-sec neighborhood

Barcelona City Council has agreed to expropriate a warehouse on Blesa Street, in the Poble-Sec neighborhood, for €9.45 million. The 9,000 square meters of building space are expected to house a library and a popular culture center, as well as the headquarters of the Castellers del Poble Sec, which is already rehearsing.
