Ferrari Amalfi, elegance on wheels

The Maranello-based company presents its new four-seater coupe, which takes over from the Ferrari Portofino and Ferrari Roma.

Ferrari has just unveiled the Amalfi, an elegant four-seater coupe (2+2) named after the legendary Amalfi Coast bathed by the Tyrrhenian Sea in the Campania region. This is the model that takes over from the Ferrari Portofino and Ferrari Roma, the two entry-level coupes that the Italian brand had manufactured until now, and maintains a name that refers to a privileged geographical area in Italy.

The new Amalfi is objectively a very attractive and well-proportioned model, thanks to an elegant and evocative design that maintains the essence of the Prancing Horse brand's classic sports coupes. It features a 15.6-inch driver's seat, a 10.25-inch central screen, and a third 8.8-inch screen for the passenger. Seats include details such as a massage function with independent adjustment.

Mechanically, this Ferrari Amalfi uses a 3.8-liter V8 engine delivering 640 hp, managed by an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission evolved from the brand's F1 cars, allowing the Amalfi to accelerate from 0 to 100 in 3.3 seconds and achieve an electronically limited top speed. Ferrari also includes details such as a new power steering system that increases grip on the asphalt and acts on longitudinal and lateral acceleration and braking when driving with a certain degree of ease on winding roads or on a circuit.
