Sabadell appoints José Iragorri as its new general manager in Mexico
The board of directors of Banc Sabadell approved a series of management changes to the bank's structure last week, including the appointment of Albert Figueras as the new Network Director in Spain, a position he will assume effectively on February 1, 2026. The executive will replace Jaime Matas, who is retiring. Figueras has been the CEO of Banco Sabadell in Mexico since May 2023 and will be replaced by José Iragorri, until now the Director of Corporate & Investment Banking at the Mexican subsidiary. Iragorri holds a degree in Public Administration from the University of Mexico and a Master's degree in International Business from the University of Valencia. He has extensive experience in the financial sector, primarily in Mexico, where he first worked at CitiBanamex for 10 years and then for 13 years at HSBC Mexico. Barcelona joins the board of the international association of World Trade Centers.
The CEO of the World Trade Center Barcelona, Carlos Anglada, has been elected to the board of directors of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), the network that brings together more than 320 of these business centers in over 90 countries. Joan Casas will preside over the Graphispag trade fair
The board of directors of Fira de Barcelona has appointed Joan Casas i Sogas, deputy general manager of Fujifilm in Spain, as president of the International Graphic Arts and Visual Communication Industry Exhibition, Graphispag, which will hold its next edition from May 4 to 7, 2027, jointly with the packaging trade fair, Hispack. The Ecija law firm changes director in Barcelona
The law firm Ecija has announced the appointment of Xavi Muñoz Bellvehí as the new managing partner of its Barcelona office, which opened in 2010 and currently has 20 partners and more than 50 lawyers.
