Zero-covid strategy: Auckland to enter seven-day lockdown

New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland, will enter a week-long lockdown, on Sunday after a single coronavirus community case of unknown origin was recorded. Zero-covid strategy is based on intense screening and short and strict lockdowns at the first sign of community transmission.
