Austria to form an alliance with Israel and Denmark to produce vaccines

Austria and Denmark have broken ranks with the European Union to form an alliance with Israel to produce second-generation vaccines against mutations of the coronavirus, Reuters reports. Austrian chancellor Sebastian Kurz said the European Medicines Agency (EMA) had been too slow to approve them.
