Europe lives under threat and the campaign is not aware of it
The police searches at the Adif headquarters (in Catalonia we know a lot about searches during campaigns) allowed the PP to say that “corruption kills”, which is quite a sign of the type of campaign that awaits us

We have Europe under the effects of an undeclared war that, for the moment, is not causing fatalities but is indeed causing the mobilization of resources, chaos in specific places, and diffused anxiety. I am referring to the bomb threats on commercial airplanes and the breaking of the cold chain in supermarkets or the storage temperature of reserves in blood banks.
Today we are publishing an interview with an expert security analyst at the European Council on Foreign Relations, who says that “there are strong signs pointing to the threat coming from Russia”. Because it is a shadow attack that is highly coordinated, systematic and deliberate, and it is very unlikely that any non-state actor could carry it out on this scale. “The goal is to scare the population, to cause mass disruption. Because when there is a bomb threat there is a protocol that requires measures to be taken, such as landing the plane or evacuating the airport, because one cannot take the risk of whether it is a hoax or a real threat. The actor behind this knows it, and is capable of exploiting it. In Moldova it was proven that Russia was behind these bomb threats. Therefore, I believe that in these cases we are now seeing across Europe there is a strong indication that Russia is also behind them”. It is clear that Putin wants to destabilize Europe, so that, depending on how we respond, he has an argument to say that we have attacked him.
Politics should keep these dark times in mind regarding the tone and content of the electoral campaign that will begin a week from today, Friday the 13th, two days after the general strike called for Wednesday the 11th. No joke. For the moment, however, the political exchange follows predictable paths:
“Sánchez wants the PP to explain if it has made a deal with Koldo”, which is a convoluted headline from when dirty war between parties dominates the campaign, and people's concerns are relegated to the background. The police searches at the Adif headquarters (in Catalonia we know a lot about police searches during a campaign) allowed the PP to say that “corruption kills”, which is quite a sign of the type of campaign that awaits us.
We will enter the campaign week with the PSOE attempting a comeback that the train accident in Toledo has placed at a low probability, and the PP trying to improve the margin of its victory so as not to depend as much on Vox. Even so, this is the situation today and, in the three weeks remaining until election Sunday, who knows what might end up happening.
Good morning.
