Thursday afternoon with strong storms

Severe storms were expected in the afternoon in several regions. They began midday in the Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees and are now primarily affecting central Catalonia, and are beginning to reach the Barcelona pre-coast. Locally, they are accompanied by hail, thunderstorms, and wind. More areas may be affected throughout the afternoon.
