Sunday with clouds and new showers
The arrival of new fronts will keep the weather uncertain in Catalonia
BarcelonaThe weather will remain unsettled with new showers. In fact, a good amount of precipitation swept through the south of the country this Saturday morning, with accumulations of up to 40 l/m2 in Miami Platja (Mont-roig del Camp), 12 l/m2 in Tivissa and in the Ports Natural Park and 11 l/m2 in Riudecanyes. Throughout the midday and afternoon, showers continued in the Pyrenees and pre-Pyrenees, with amounts ranging between 3 and 5 l/m2 (in Espot they added up to 14 l/m2). At the end of this information, we will add a more extensive list of accumulated rainfall amounts.
And the weather will continue to be unstable in the coming days, new frontal lines will arrive that will keep the sky well covered and there will be new precipitation. Temperatures, however, will not undergo significant changes and will remain similar to those currently recorded.

The weather will remain unsettled, with a risk of showers, especially in the afternoon in parts of the Pyrenees, pre-Pyrenees, coastal mountains, and the Ports. Early in the morning, a pre-frontal line will already leave some precipitation in the Lleida Pyrenees and in the south of the territory, which will ease off early in the morning. Elsewhere, the sky will continue to be changeable, without ruling out a light and local drizzle or shower, but with generally quite abundant cloudiness, even on the coast, where a light easterly flow will keep the atmosphere more charged.

Instability will persist thanks to the presence of a small cold air pocket at high altitude that will feed the growth of clouds and will be the cause of a more widespread rainy Monday, as it could rain in any region at the start of the week. The showers will be more widespread and a little more abundant, even more intense and with thunderstorms. The temperature could drop slightlyfrom Tuesday onwards. Meteocat has issued a warning for heavy rain, valid for Monday itself, until the evening.
