Meteorological autumn arrives with more clouds, but without rain

BarcelonaMercury again exceeded 35 ℃ this Monday, as it did over the weekend, but in general the temperature remained around 29 ℃ to 33 ℃. These are typical values for the end of August that will also accompany us into early September, with heat that could intensify more from mid-week. On the horizon there is no early autumn rain storm, but also no extreme off-season heatwave.

Tuesday: more clouds

We start September with few changes, on a Tuesday with more cloudy spells, which will move from south to north as the hours pass and will leave the sky overcast or partly cloudy during the central hours of the day. However, they will only leave some isolated drizzles on the southern coast. The temperature will remain stable or even drop slightly, with tropical lows on the coast and highs of 28 ℃ to 33 ℃ in much of the country.

Wednesday: new thermal ascent

The week will progress with few changes, with Wednesday having many more spells of sunshine everywhere and with temperatures clearly rising. The minimum will already rise during the early morning, with more tropical minimums on the pre-littoral and in areas of Ponent, but the maximum will rise notably in some cases. This thermal rise will also continue on Thursday and Friday, when temperatures could exceed 35 ℃ or 36 ℃ in many inland areas.
