Calm and warm Saturday, awaiting a new change in the weather
A new front is approaching on Sunday with showers in the afternoon.

BarcelonaThe cold air above us and the tail of an occluded front generated storm clouds Friday afternoon, with some intense showers adding to the stormy season (you'll find updated data at the end of this report). The weekend will be a mixed bag, with a very quiet Saturday and a Sunday with an increased risk of precipitation in some areas.
Calm Saturday with rising temperatures
A quiet weekend, especially on Saturday, with a rise in temperature but no significant heat expected. After a fairly cool morning, maximum temperatures will remain at bay, a few degrees below what would be expected for this time of year. In the Empordà and Ebro regions, they will not exceed 32°C, and on the coast, they could reach 29°C, although with less muggy conditions than on previous days. In the afternoon, some clouds will gather in the Pyrenees and inland areas of the northeast, where short-lived showers are not ruled out. On the coast, winds will be mild, strengthening from midday onwards.
Sunday: new weather change
A very deep low pressure system located in the Atlantic will bring a new frontal system. The weather will be calm and clear along the coast for the first part of the day, but thin clouds will increase by mid-morning, and the western part will be quite overcast. In fact, the first showers will fall from midday in the Lleida regions and the surrounding fringe, with some thunderstorms in the Pre-Pyrenees and the westernmost Pyrenees. During the night, showers will reach central Catalonia and the pre-coastal region, and during the early hours of Monday, rain will eventually occur in some areas, with some thunderstorms also reaching the coast.
