How do we translate our content?

At ARA we write all content originally in Catalan, and some of the articles that we consider may be of interest outside Catalonia, treated with a national perspective, are also translated into Spanish and English.

These translations may be verified or machine translated. As we want you to receive the best possible experience, we clearly indicate whether a translation is verified or not.

Verified translation: done by the same journalist

When a translation is verified, it means that it has been done by one of our journalists. This ensures that the content remains faithful to its original version and that the nuances of the message are captured in the text.

Automatic translation: our system takes care of it

We sometimes use an automatic translation system to facilitate translation and speed up the process. Although this system is very efficient, there can sometimes be some limitations with regard to the quality and accuracy of the translations. We are constantly working on improvements to bring you the best possible content.

Verification tag at the top of the content

So that you can easily identify whether a translation is verified, we place a visible label at the top of the translated content. This way, you can be confident in the quality and accuracy of our verified translations, and be aware of the automatic nature of other translations that are not verified

If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to talk to you.
