Vermouths Miró buys Perucchi Vermouth
The Catalan company is confident of double-digit growth in the coming years.

TarragonaVermuts Miró announced this week the acquisition of Vermouth Perucchi, the oldest brand in the sector and one of the most prestigious for its artisanal and premium profile. It is the most premium brand in the Spanish vermouth market by volume, according to the international wine and spirits consultancy IWSR. It is based on high-quality white wine, primarily Macabeo, and sugar.
Apart from its premium and super-premium line of vermouths, Perucchi 1876 produces an exclusive Spritz aperitif, with mandarin and bitter oranges and high-quality liqueurs, such as limoncello, tariff and coffee liqueur, all original Italian formulas from the early 20th century.
Perucchi 1876 currently has three business units: the production and marketing of vermouths and liqueurs; the wine, cava, and vermouth distributor DVVD Barcelona, aimed at hospitality customers in the Barcelona metropolitan area; and the vermouth, wine, and liqueur store VINS&CO, located at 177 Aribau Street in Barcelona, which offers the largest and most extensive assortment in the city in terms of kilometer references.
According to Miró, Perucchi will continue with its three business units (production, distribution and retail) active and strengthened, with all staff members retaining their job categories, salaries, and seniority, which will be transferred to the new company. The Miró-Perucchi group is expected to grow double-digit annual growth in the coming years, consolidating its leadership in manufacturing and market recognition.
Different sectors
MaserGrup, founded by Xavier Martínez in 1997, is one of the leading business groups in the Tarragona region. It comprises Tecnol, Fruselva, and Miró, among others, and operates in several sectors. It also owns the Casa Navàs in Reus, a jewel of European modernism that retains all of its original interior furnishings. It is one of the most visited buildings in the Tarragona region.
MaserGrup, which employs more than 1,200 people across three continents, expects revenues of €230 million in 2025, representing a 50% increase over the previous year. This is thanks in particular to the development of Fruselva Global SA, the group's main driving force, with three factories worldwide and a commercial presence worth over €1 billion.
