Easter gives the starting signal for the high tourist season on the Costa Daurada. It is increasingly common to see groups of tourists walking through the streets following marked routes, with a clear commitment to extending activity beyond the summer. This dynamism represents an undeniable economic engine, but it also accentuates overcrowding in coastal areas, pressure on services, and a progressive homogenization that threatens local identity. Without a real balance between economy and sustainability, tourist success may end up diluting what makes it attractive.
