GironaFIATC Girona stood strong at home against Asisa Joventut (101-87). Mac McClung (23 points), the American who chose Girona following his heart's intuition, was decisive. Andrzej Pluta and Jassel Perez complemented the work of the three-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion. "McClung is making a very great effort to adapt to a new style," analyzed Moncho Fernández. "We lost our focus," opined Dani Miret, who missed Ludde Hakanson and Boogie Ellis.

An unexpected rebirth at the Palace

A Barça without Justin Robinson and Joel Parra overcame Casademont Zaragoza, who ran out of strength while attempting an implausible comeback (99-81). Juan Núñez, who scored 23 points, played his best game in the blue and garnet jersey. "I am not satisfied with this. My personal goals and those of the team are very ambitious," he said. The club took the opportunity to pay tribute to five of the section's most veteran former players.

A defeat that will have consequences

Very bad feelings at the Nou Congost, where Kids&Us Manresa lost against Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos (81-99). The visiting lead reached up to 24 points. The team from Bages, which heard whistles from some fans, has accumulated five losses in five Liga Endesa games. "This is a game for us all to be fired, starting with me. Decisions must be made and we must react as a club," said Diego Ocampo.
