BarcelonaThe storm arriving in Catalonia has caused the suspension of sports activities and "those involving travel to the 20 counties affected by the Inuncat plan due to the intensity and risk of rain accumulation on the coast and pre-coast", as reported by the Generalitat. The Second Division match between Sabadell and Andorra, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., is one of the affected events. After hours of talks, the League finally agreed to postpone the match after speaking with both parties. Girona plays on Sunday at 9:00 p.m. against Mallorca, a match that currently remains on schedule. Another affected football match is the Primera RFEF game between Sant Andreu and Antequera, scheduled for 8:00 p.m. at the Can Dragó field.
The suspension of the Liga Endesa match between Joventut de Badalona and MoraBanc has also been confirmed. The new time for the match will be Wednesday, October 14th at 8:00 p.m. On the other hand, the Kids&Manresa match against Rio Breogán at 9:00 p.m. has not been suspended, as the capital of Bages is not within the affected area.
One of the numerous suspended activities is the European Open Water Cup event, which was to be held this Saturday at the port of Barcelona.
