Mbappé gets injured with France and returns to Madrid one month before the classic
The French forward retires with discomfort in his left knee and today will undergo more tests
Barcelona"Mbappé is not well. There has been hypertension in the knee after the shot and I think he will return to Madrid, we will not take any risks". These were the first reactions after the match from Zinedine Zidane, who debuted this Friday with a victory with the French national team against Turkey (0-1).
The Real Madrid forward had to leave the pitch in the 59th minute after scoring the only goal of the match. Mbappé, who tried to continue, was substituted with discomfort in his left knee, the same one that had already caused him problems last season on more than one occasion. Désiré Doué came on in his place.
The French Federation, for its part, confirmed that he is suffering from a tendon injury and will be out for the next three matches that Zidane's team has to play: Belgium (Monday the 28th, 20:45), Italy (Friday the 2nd, 20:45) and Belgium again (Monday the 5th, 20:45).
Everything points to the fact that Mbappé will undergo more medical tests this Saturday to know in more detail what injury he has and how much time he could be out. It should be remembered that in a month's time, Barça and Real Madrid will face each other at the Camp Nou. It will be on Sunday, October 25th at 9 p.m. Before that, José Mourinho's team will play against Villarreal (October 10th, 9 p.m.), Roma (October 14th, 9 p.m.), Sevilla (October 18th, 9 p.m.) and Leipzig (October 21st, 9 p.m.).
