Enric Mas has extended his lead at the top of the general classification of the Vuelta after the twelfth stage. The Balearic cyclist has a 1 minute 45 second advantage over Roglic and a 2 minute 6 second margin over Felix Gall. The Slovenian Jakob Omrzel was the winner of the stage.
