Catalan Paul McGrath won the bronze medal in the 20km walk at the World Championships. The gold medal went to Brazilian Caio Bonfim, ahead of China's Wang Zhaozhao. The son of a Scottish father and a Catalan mother, the 23-year-old athlete from Gavà defended his medal in a very close final stretch.
