Barça vs. Paris Saint-Germain Champions League match guide: schedule, where to watch, and lineups
Barça plays its first home game of the season in Europe's top competition.

BarcelonaBarça and Paris Saint-Germain will face each other this Wednesday (9 p.m./Movistar) at the Estadio Olimpico Lluís Companys in the second matchday of the Champions League. The Catalans will face the reigning champions, currently coached by former Barça player Luis Enrique. Both teams are candidates to win the Champions League this season and both earned three points on Matchday 1. Barça beat Newcastle 2-1, while PSG did the same, beating Atalanta 4-0.
Both teams can also boast of being the leaders in their respective leagues. Barça snatched the top spot from Real Madrid this past weekend, following the Whites' resounding 5-2 defeat in the Madrid derby and the Blaugranas' 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad. Thus, Hansi Flick's team remains unbeaten and has only conceded one draw, against Rayo Vallecano (1-1). However, last week PSG suffered their first defeat of the season against their arch-rivals, Olympique de Marseille (1-0).
Against PSG, Barça will be able to count on Lamine Yamal, who already played a decisive few minutes on Sunday against Real Sociedad and provided the assist for Lewandowski's goal. Flick will also have Alejandro Balde back at left back. However, he will be without other key players: Raphinha, Joan Garcia, Fermín López, Gavi, and Ter Stegen. PSG also arrives in Barcelona with a full squad. The most notable absence will be former Barça player Ousmane Dembélé, recent Ballon d'Or winner. Marquinhos, Doué, and Kvaratskhelia also did not travel to the Catalan capital.
