Barça-Feyenoord Champions League guide: where to watch it, schedule and lineups

The last Blaugrana European triumph dates back to 2015, when Luis Enrique's side defeated Juventus (3-1) in Berlin, with the trident formed by Messi, Luis Suárez, and Neymar. Now, a new generation led by Lamine Yamal wants to reach that peak again.

Flick faces the debut with some absences. Eric Garcia, suspended, and Frenkie de Jong, injured, will not be able to play, while Roony Bardghji is also not registered due to his long-term injury. Jules Kounde looks set to take Eric's place and Rodri could keep his starting spot after his debut at Mestalla. The main doubt is whether it will be Fermín or Dani Olmo who starts as the attacking midfielder. Up front, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Gordon start as undisputed pieces, although Adeyemi could enter in place of the British winger.

Feyenoord, for its part, arrives in Barcelona with two familiar faces: Gio van Bronckhorst, former Barça player and new coach after the departure of Robin van Persie, and Mika Mármol, trained at La Masia. The Dutch side has not won any of their last eleven European away games and has lost the nine most recent ones. Midfielder Luciano Valente and winger Anis Hadj Moussa are their main threats. Moussa, in fact, was close to leaving for Saudi Arabia for 40 million euros, but the operation fell through. Now he will be one of Feyenoord's weapons to try to surprise Barça at the start of their new assault on the Champions League.
