MadridThe 2025-26 season will be remembered for many years by blaugrana fans. For the second year in a row, Barça has won all the titles it has competed for – Champions League, League, Copa de la Reina, and Spanish Super Cup. A historic quadruple that has served for Pere Romeu's team to reassert themselves after a season marked by doubts and criticism, especially due to the short squad that was assembled in the summer and that has forced academy players like Clara Serrajordi and Aïcha Camara to step up.

But this year will also be remembered for being the captain's last, Alexia Putellas, who did not travel to Madrid to play the last match of the season at the Fernando Torres stadium. Also absent were, among others, Ona Batlle and Mapi León, who on Wednesday said goodbye to the culers fans at the Johan Cruyff stadium. Neither the absences nor the heat – with 33 degrees in Fuenlabrada, where the match was played – were an impediment for Barça to close the season with another victory against Madrid CFF thanks to a hat trick by Graham Hansen and a fourth goal by Vicky López (0-4).

With Txell Font debuting under the posts – in what could be her first and last match with the Barça shirt – Pere Romeu opted for Patri Guijarro, Aitana Bonmatí, and Kika Nazareth in midfield, a trident we will see often from next season. Guijarro – captain today given the absences of Alexia and Marta Torrejón – filtered a great pass to Salma, for whom the poor state of the pitch favored the bounce to allow her to place the cross directly onto Graham Hansen's head and score the first goal of the match.

The Norwegian would extend the lead from the penalty spot after a shot from Adriana – a starter in the heart of the defense with Maria Llorella, also a player from the reserve team – which Olofsson deflected with her hand. Graham Hansen would also be in charge of putting the icing on the cake after a great through ball from Serrajordi. Vicky López, who was returning to the place where she grew up before making the leap to Barça, received the warmth of the Fernando Torres crowd, who also cheered with shouts towards Salma for her to stay. A stand with many Barça shirts that celebrated Vicky's goal, which made it 0-4 in an action in which the goalkeeper Paola Ulloa was injured.

Barça closes a historic season with a new victory. In total, Pere Romeu's team will have won 44 matches, with only one defeat – against Real Sociedad – and three draws – against Chelsea, Badalona, and Bayern. Furthermore, in the league they have 130 goals for and only nine against, with Clàudia Pina as the top scorer (21). Now it's time to recharge batteries before starting from scratch again. Thus, the ambition of this team will again be to win the four titles.
