BarcelonaIf scoring your first goal for Barça is already special, imagine doing it in a historic stadium like the Nuevo Los Cármenes. That must have been what Aïcha Camara was thinking, as she opened her account for the Blaugrana and celebrated with her hands on her head and a look of disbelief. Pere Romeu's team, with precision, rhythm, and attacking ideas, played a great match before the international break and took the victory away to Granada (0-2). Graham Hansen, who had to leave the field due to discomfort, scored the other goal.

Intense and focused. That's how Barça came out at the Nuevo Los Cármenes, aware that they were facing a team in excellent form. Irene Ferreras's side – who had only just suffered their first defeat of 2026 in La Liga – had strung together five wins and a draw in their last six matches. However, the Blaugrana gave the Andalusians no chance and started strong. Marta Torrejón had the first opportunity with a shot that hit the crossbar, but it was the ever-present Graham Hansen who broke the deadlock from the penalty spot. Lauri slipped while trying to dribble past Vicky and lost possession in her own area. The Granada player herself tried to correct the mistake, but brought down Graham. The Norwegian made no mistake from the penalty spot.

The Andalusian side, who had started with a five-man defense, stepped up their game after Barça's early goal, and the Catalan team found space more easily. Goalkeeper Hirao saved shots from Ewa Pajor and Pina, but couldn't prevent Aïcha Camara's first goal for Barça, after she headed in a corner kick from Graham Hansen. The Sabadell native, who debuted with the first team in August, put her hands to her head, still in disbelief that she had scored her first goal for Barça. Another positive note was Gemma Font. The goalkeeper, making her third consecutive start due to Cata Coll's injury, was very alert, coming off her line to intercept the through balls Granada attempted.

With the game under control, Pere Romeu brought on Alexia Putellas, Patri Guijarro, Kika Nazareth, and Salma Paralluelo. These changes highlight the quality within the squad. The bad news, however, was the injury to Graham Hansen, who left the field clutching his hamstring. We will have to wait for the results of tests to rule out any further injury.
