BarcelonaFrom AQC Editors, this summer the ARA offers the possibility of acquiring an artistic edition of the six poetry books by Joan Salvat-Papasseit (1894-1924) in a wooden case, a piece conceived by designers Salvador Saura and Ramon Torrente and illustrated by the painter Perico Pastor.

The case-box also includes an introductory essay by Ferran Gadea Gambús, which reviews the author's life trajectory and ideological and aesthetic evolution. The set is a collector's item, but with the particularity that each of the six books that the poet left as a fabulous literary and vital legacy can be extracted and enjoyed autonomously. And why a wooden case? "Here it is: I have kept wood in the port," wrote Salvat-Papasseit.

The books, furthermore, are facsimile editions, with the original illustrations by the artists and friends of the poet Joaquim Torres Garcia, Rafael Barradas, Ramon Campany, and Josep Obiols. Salvat-Papasseit continues to be a popular classic, suitable and loved by all audiences. He is an author who has transcended eras and mental borders, captivating readers far beyond academic circles.
