Alt Camp: history, wine, and landscape in its purest form

Alt Camp is a region to be explored leisurely, with a glass in hand and eyes wide open. The royal monastery of Santes Creus is the Cistercian jewel. In Valls, the Museu Casteller de Catalunya showcases the soul of a unique tradition. Montferri surprises with the Modernism of Jujol in the sanctuary of Our Lady of Montserrat.

The Romanesque architecture of San Ramón (Pla de Santa Maria), the Baroque architecture of Sant Jaume (Bràfim), and the altarpieces of Santa Magdalena (Armentera Bridge and Masó)—with the only free-standing bell tower—enrich the religious heritage. Nulles stands out with its wine cathedral, and the wineries of Alió, Aiguamúrcia, and Cabra del Camp complete the wine tourism experience.

The Roman columbarium of Vila-rodona is unique in the world. The natural landscapes of the Remei hermitage and the Molino viewpoint (Alcover), the Glorieta springs (Montral), the Mixarda Tower and the Devil's Bridge (Figuerola del Camp), and the Pi de Puigpelat mountain range offer routes for all tastes.

Castles such as Querol, Rodonyà, Vallmoll, Milà, and Garidells evoke the Spanish March. The Vilabella Art Gallery, the Casal de los Marquises del Rourell, the Riba and Ca l'Orga windmills (Picamoixons) complete a lively region brimming with culture.

Discovering Alt Camp means delving into a land that preserves the essence of its past with pride and authenticity.
