Woman arrested for the death of the baby that they found on a landing in La Mina

BarcelonaThe Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a woman who is allegedly related to the death of the baby who was found dead this week, inside a plastic bag, on a landing of an apartment building on Llevant Street, in the La Mina neighborhood of Sant Adrià de Besòs. The arrest was made this Thursday, the day after the baby was found.

This Wednesday, around one in the afternoon, the Mossos d'Esquadra received the notice that the lifeless body of a baby had been found in this building. Several patrols were dispatched there, which found the creature's body, and several units from the Medical Emergency System (SEM) also arrived.

The investigation of the case is in the hands of the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Mossos d'Esquadra, and the agents of this unit are in charge of clarifying the circumstances of the events.
