Three arrested for the death of a man during a drug robbery in Olesa de Montserrat

BarcelonaThe Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested three men suspected of the violent death of another man this Friday morning in Olesa de Montserrat (Baix Llobregat). According to sources familiar with the investigation consulted by the ARA, the man died as a result of an assault with a firearm and everything points to the fact that the victim was involved in a drug robbery, that is, that he had entered the property with the intention of stealing the stored drugs.

At around seven in the morning, the police received a report that there could be a seriously injured person in a house in the municipality as a result of an assault. Upon their arrival, the Mossos point out in a statement, the Catalan police officers found the body of a dead person, and the corpse had signs of violence.

In the same house there were three men, who are the three arrested for being allegedly related to this violent death. The Mossos have opened an investigation to clarify the details surrounding this death related to drug trafficking. The Criminal Investigation Division of the southern metropolitan police region took charge of the investigation and the case is under confidentiality of proceedings.
