The State includes the new Covid-19 vaccine from the Girona-based pharmaceutical company Hipra in the 2025 vaccination schedule.

The Minister of Health, Mónica García, has announced that the Spanish government will include the new COVID-19 vaccine developed by the Girona-based pharmaceutical company Hipra in its 2025-2026 vaccination schedule. García stated that one million doses will be purchased for distribution to health centers throughout Spain.
