The Spanish government wants to legally protect teachers' working hours.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has announced that he will promote a law that will protect teachers' teaching hours. Currently, the recommended limit is 23 hours in primary school and 18 in secondary school and high school—which is already the case in Catalonia—but the new law will make these limits mandatory.
