The Prosecutor's Office has requested the acquittal of the four national police officers investigated for gouging out Roger Español's eye with a rubber bullet on October 1st. The Barcelona Court denied the officers amnesty, and the prosecutor now argues that they acted in the fulfillment of their duty and defended themselves from protesters.
