The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) are recruiting 733 trainee officers and redeploying 85 to strengthen operational capacity in the summer.

The Mossos d'Esquadra's operational capacity will be increased this summer, with 733 trainee officers and the redeployment of 85 officers to busier areas, such as the coast. The summer security plan also includes an overtime bonus of one million euros, equivalent to 34,500 hours of overtime.
