The Ministry of the Interior plans to add alerts for lower-risk situations to the ES-Alert system, using less jarring and easily dismissed sounds. This was explained on 3Cat by the Deputy Director of Civil Protection, Imma Soler, who indicated that the government has already developed the tool.
