The legal aid service assists 25% more victims of gender-based violence in the Barcelona area

The Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) recorded 11,784 actions last year on the duty shift specialising in gender-based violence. This is equivalent to 32 victims being assisted every day and represents an increase of 25% compared to 2023, when 9,375 assistances were provided.
