Some 290,000 vehicles have already returned to the Barcelona area, half of the 580,000 planned for the Easter return operation. Ramon Lamiel, director of the Catalan Traffic Service, explained this on Catalunya Ràdio, saying he was surprised that so many trips were made on Sunday.
