New crime in Catalonia: they investigate a fatal stabbing in Sant Adrià de Besòs
Some witnesses have alerted that a person had been lying on the ground with stab wounds in the La Mina neighborhood
BarcelonaThe Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating a new homicide in Catalonia. A man died from stab wounds this Wednesday evening on Manuel Fernández Márquez street, in the La Mina neighborhood of Sant Adrià de Besòs. As of now, no one has been arrested.
It all happened around half past eight in the evening, when a patrol from the Barcelona Urban Guard passing by at that moment was alerted by witnesses who claimed there was a person lying on the ground. The officers began resuscitation maneuvers until the arrival of emergency services, who could do nothing to save his life.
The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) has taken charge of the case to clarify the circumstances of the events. Given the incident is so recent, the Mossos are still unclear whether the fatal stabbing was caused by a fight between two or more people or another type of confrontation.
