BarcelonaThe multiple rape of an 18-year-old girl in February 2019 in an abandoned warehouse in Sabadell has ended in conviction for three of the four men accused. The Barcelona High Court has imposed 31 years in prison on the man it considers to be the perpetrator of one of the three sexual assaults and co-operator in the rest. The other two defendants were sentenced to 13 and a half years as accomplices in the climate of terror.

The judges have no doubts about the victim's testimony: "We found it entirely credible", after the controversy over the girl's re-victimisation during the prosecutor's interrogation at the trial. However, the perpetrators of the first two rapes are missing: one has never been identified and the other fled because he was not in custody.
