A man has been jailed for attempting to suffocate his ex-partner, from whom he had a restraining order.

A Barcelona judge has remanded a man in custody after he was arrested last Sunday for attempting to kill his ex-partner by suffocating her with a cable in the Sant Martí district, despite having a restraining order against the victim since January 2024 for a previous assault.
