A man has been charged with starting four fires in just a few days in Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) have filed a criminal complaint against a 55-year-old man from Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Baix Empordà) as the alleged perpetrator of four forest fires in the town of Sant Amanç between August 5 and 16. According to the investigation, the fires were started so they could be extinguished quickly.
