A gas leak forces the evacuation of a school and several blocks in L'Hospitalet.
The incident occurred on the street, when some workers were working with a drill, and one person was taken to the hospital.

BarcelonaThe Catalan government's firefighters are working on a major gas leak in the street of Hospitalet de Llobregat. Currently, the leak, on Nazaret Street, is still active, according to firefighter sources. The Catalan emergency service has ordered the lockdown of several blocks and has also evacuated the nearest buildings and the Prat de la Manta school as a precaution. One person has been taken to Bellvitge Hospital by the Emergency Medical System (SEM). At the start of the leak, an explosion occurred in a nearby bar, causing a partition wall to collapse.
The leak is in the street, as it occurred when workers were working with a drill and burst a pipe. The firefighters have created a safe area with evacuations and lockdowns. Company technicians are already on scene to stop the leak, and the situation is "improving," according to firefighter sources. Eleven firefighter units are currently deployed. In parallel, Civil Protection has put the Procicat on pre-alert.
