A man has accepted a two-year prison sentence for sexually abusing a patient at Vall d'Hebron Hospital in February 2020. The man was completing a postgraduate degree as a first-year resident physician in the thoracic surgery department and will substitute his sentence for expulsion from Ecuador, his home country.
